Inland vs Coast: it all comes down to reading the Arctic at its finest. When the weather is stable and skies are clear, we head towards the coast—often to the island of Kvaløya—where the open ocean meets dramatic landscapes of white valleys, sharp mountain peaks, fjords, and quiet beaches. On more challenging nights, when clouds roll in from the sea, we move inland, driving deep into sheltered valleys toward Finland, escaping the heavier coastal weather. Each valley holds its own microclimate—subtle, unpredictable, and invisible to standard forecasts.
This is where experience truly matters: knowing how the land breathes, how the weather shifts, and where the sky will open when it seems impossible.
